And 60 people are injured and have been taken to hospital. People injured during the stampede were admitted to different hospitals of the city. What is the way to reach Mahakumbh after getting down from the train? Know how much you will have to walk on foot.



Indian Railways has run thousands of trains for Mahakumbh. You will have to first come to Prayagraj Railway Station. Mahakumbh is at a distance of 11 kilometers from Prayagraj Railway Station.
These days in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, there is the sound of Mahakumbh. Lakhs of devotees from far and wide are arriving to take a bath in the Kumbh. Everyone from Gautam Adani to Yogi Adityanath has taken a dip in the form of love in this Kumbh.
If you also want to reach Kumbh and are worried about how to reach, what will be the route, how to reach, then do not worry, make your plans because today we are going to tell you the direct and easiest way to reach Kumbh after getting down from the train.
Let us tell you that Kumbh has started from 13th January and will end on 26th February.
First of all you will have to come to Prayagraj by train from which the distance of Kumbh is 11 kilometers. From there you will have to go to Kumbh by any taxi or auto. However, there is 9 railway station in Prayagraj from which the distance of Kumbh is different.

  1. The distance from Prayagraj Junction to Kumbh Mela is 11 kilometers.
  2. The distance from Phaphamau Junction to Kumbh Mela is 18 kilometers.
  3. The distance from Prayagraj Sangam to Khumbh Mela is 2.5 Kilometres .
  4. The distance from Prayagraj Junction to  Khumbh Mela is 9.30 Kilometres .
  5. The distance from Jhusi is 3.5 Kilometres. 
  6. The Distance from Prayagraj Jhinki is 10 Kilometers .
  7. The Distance from Naini distance is 8 kilometers.

Walking distance 


During Kumbh Mela, Shahi Snan and Aam Snan have different conditions. On the day of Shahi Snan, you will have to walk more than on normal day and it can be up to 10 kilometers.
If you are going in your personal vehicle, then you may have to travel four to 15 kilometers because parking arrangements have been made at different places in Kumbh. Apart from this, if you talk about parking or auto drop point, then you will have to walk at least 4 to 5 kilometers even on normal days and at least 10 kilometers  on the day of Shahi Snan.
