The DIG has also given the reasons for the incident. A stampede broke out in Prayagraj Mahakumbh Mela due to increase in crowd before bathing on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya.On a press conference Officials of Mahakumbh Mela DIG Vaibhav Krishna, justified the reasons of stampede in Mahakumbh, officials said that 30 pilgrims died on the way to Mahakumbh Stampede. And 60 people are injured and have been taken to hospital. People injured during the stampede were admitted to different hospitals of the city. Modi said that he will fulfill his promises by starting the tunnel in Sonamarg.




 Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that he will fulfill the promises made to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He also said that there is a right time for everything and the right thing will happen at the right time.Modi was addressing a public meeting after inaugurating the strategically important Root Mode Tunnel connecting Sonamarg with Kashmir. His remarks came soon after Chief Minister Omar Abdullah demanded withdrawal of Jammu and Kashmir's statehood.On this occasion, the Prime Minister said that Jammu and Kashmir belongs to the country and he wants it to become beautiful and prosperous. He said that there is an atmosphere of peace in Jammu and Kashmir and we have seen its impact on the pattern. Today, a new story of development is visible in Kashi, Kashmir.
