The DIG has also given the reasons for the incident. A stampede broke out in Prayagraj Mahakumbh Mela due to increase in crowd before bathing on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya.On a press conference Officials of Mahakumbh Mela DIG Vaibhav Krishna, justified the reasons of stampede in Mahakumbh, officials said that 30 pilgrims died on the way to Mahakumbh Stampede. And 60 people are injured and have been taken to hospital. People injured during the stampede were admitted to different hospitals of the city. Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday announced the candidate for the by-election to be held on Milkipur seat of Ayodhya.Chandrabhanu Paswan is the party's candidate for this seat. The Pasi Samaj star Chandrabhanu Paswan of the BJP will take against Ajit Prasad of the Pasi Samaj from the SP.Ajit Prasad is the son of Ayodhya MP Awadhesh Prasad, whose name has already been announced by the Samajwadi Party.Arun Singh, the National General Secretary of the BJP, declared Chandrabhanu's name following the Central Election Committee's permission. Chandrabhanu, a member of the Scheduled Caste, performs routine tasks.On February 5th, voting will take place for the Milkipur seat. For the BJP, this seat is extremely prestigious. The party is making every effort to win this seat in order to make up for Ayodhya's defeat.
